Remembering Former Parish Priest (1988 - 2007) Fr. John Ryder
Tuesday 2nd June, 1931 - Sunday 12th December, 2021

It is with the greatest sadness that I have to announce that Bishop McKeown has shared the news of the death of our beloved former Parish Priest Fr. John Ryder this morning (Sunday 12th December), he was 90 years old.

May the God who began the good work through him bring it to fulfilment. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Ryder on the evening of the Way of the Cross dedication in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery.

 
Wednesday 9th August, 2015 A donation of the Stations to Greencastle Parish for the Way of the Cross dedication were made by tne Loreto Sisters.

Wednesday 1st September, 2010 Fr. Eugene Hasson, Fr. John J. Ryder, Bishop Daly and Monsignor Joseph Donnelly on their way to Broughderg for the Silver Jubilee celebration in Our Lady of the Wayside Church.   May, 2016 Derry Diocesan Priests' Retreat at SMA Conference Centre Dromantine a few weeks before Fr. John J. Ryder's Diamond Jubilee in Priesthood (he was ordained Sunday 17th June 1956)
