We give thanks this weekend for our 11 pupils of Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School who celebrated their long delayed First Holy Communion Mass Saturday 26th September in St. Patrick’s Church.
We thank the teachers Miss Tracey and Mrs. McCann as well as Clare McCartan for her singing during the mass. Thank you to the parents and families who prepared and presented the children so well.
We look forward during these difficult times to continuing to welcome the children to the Celebration of Mass to receive Jesus, the Bread of Life regularly.

This is what I have received from the Lord, and in turn passed on to you: that on the same night that he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, and thanked God for it and broke it and he said, “This is my body which is for you; do this as a memorial of me.” In the same way he took the cup after supper, and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. When you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.
