Following the beautiful celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday 6^th May by Fr. Gallagher, it is only right that we should thank and acknowledge all those who made it such a joyful and grace filled occasion. We thank especially the parents and families who presented them so well, Mr. McGinn and Mrs. McCann from our parish school who prepared the children so well, all who took part in the liturgy in reading the scripture or sharing the prayers or presented the gifts and workbooks, the altar servers, those who prepared the church especially Alice Keenan our sacristan, the choir and instrumentalists under the direction of Sinead Donnelly and those who prepared and served the refreshments in the school afterwards. Most especially we thank our children of Primary Seven, who with the help of the Holy Spirit, will be the faith leaders of the future in this parish and beyond. We offer them all the encouragement we can so that they can grow daily in living and developing their faith. May each of you continue to grow and mature both individually and as members of our Church faith community in every way throughout your lives.
